Product Conclusion:
The Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 Founders Edition ranks well above many mid-range graphics cards. This is confirmed not only by the results of running benchmarks, which are at the level of the more expensive GTX 1070 Ti and support for ray tracing technology, but also by energy efficiency, as well as a good cooling system from Nvidia. Of course, the card is worth more than a typical «average». If you do not claim 4K or are not ready to pay more than 250$, take a closer look at the more affordable offers of competitors.
Advantages
Support for ray tracing technology
Quiet even under load
More than enough for Full HD monitors

Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 architecture and features
Nvidia’s Turing architecture is finally available to the mid-range as well: those who are happy with their monitor with Full HD resolution do not need to take RTX 2070, 2080 or RTX 2080 Ti, which are much more expensive. In this card, the small TU106 GPU runs with 1920 activated shaders, 120 textures, and 48 ROPs. The clock frequency of the overclocked Founders Edition fluctuates between 1365 and 1680 MHz. Thus, it is lower here than the GTX 1070 graphics cards, but despite this, in terms of pure performance, the RTX 2060 performs somewhat better. At Nvidia, this model costs about 280$.
Nvidia uses the new, fast GDDR6 standard for video memory, but it’s only 6 GB with a 192-bit interface width. Also, like all new Geforce cards, the RTX 2060 also supports G-Sync monitors and some Adaptive-Sync models.
RTX 2060 FE boasts a simple yet beautiful design
Amazing 4K performance
In games at Full HD resolution, the RTX 2060 FE graphics card performs best with detail settings from high to high. In many of our older test games, the graphics card achieves over 100 and sometimes even over 200 frames per second (fps). In the rather resource-demanding Ashes of the Singularity system, the card produces an excellent 76 fps, and in the strategic Total War: Warhammer 2 it still slightly exceeds the psychologically important mark of 60 fps. It’s only in Far Cry 5 that you’ll have to lower the detail level a bit, as the RTX 2060 FE is only capable of 48 fps here.
